I have just been commissioned by Aughakillyamude Mumming Association in rural Fermanagh to make 25 Mummer dolls. Each doll represents a mumming character and is individually tailored and designed by myself.

Mummer Dolls - Phase I
Above: Under garment for Wren doll, the fabric neatly mirrors that of the feathers found on the wren bird and i've had it for a few years now, so i'm very pleased to see it being brought into play here.
Below: The 3 pairs of hands made from sculpey are ready to go into the oven, I am very pleased with myself that I didn't burn them this time, as many a hand and head have sadly been charred from over baking. Hooray!! Wait a minute...did i hear a faint round of applause from the shoe box??!
